Audet & Knight worked on the reconstruction of the Desmarais bridge. The bridge crosses the Harricana river, located in downtown Amos. This complex structure is 97 meters long and 16 metres wide. This contract was granted by the Quebec ministry of transportation in 2012.
The project started with the demolition of the bridge. Meanwhile, a temporary single lane bridge was built to allow automobile circulation. The bridge was later rebuilt with box piles and roc sockets. Support walls were also built to ensure the solidification of the bridge. The contract ended in 2014.
